My work is based on concepts related to silence, such as emptiness, calm, balance or timelessness. I focus on the most essential aspects of painting and I don’t mind the difference between abstraction and figuration; all of it is a combination between colors and shapes.

I try to take these elements to their minimum expression, isolating them and and removing everything superficial to the maximum extent possible. I try to establish simple relationships: Horizontal – vertical, organic – inorganic, rational – irrational…
